Tiger Tuesdays: 2000 Canadian Open

2000 Canadian Open

I miss Vintage Tiger! When Tiger was in full Tiger Mode it seemed like he was playing a different course than the rest of the field. Coming down the stretch of the 2000 Canadian Open tied with Grant Wait coming into 18 Tiger puts his tee shot into the bunker, on a par 5 mind you. What happened next was the definition of Vintage Tiger, pumping it 215 over a lake, from the bunker, on 18 to win the tournament. Pretty Simple.

After seeing Phil and Freddie Couples competing for the Masters this past weekend, it put me in a full depression wondering if we’ll ever see Tiger be able to compete at a high level again.

In the meantime enjoy Tiger Tuesdays looking back at some of Tigers greatest moments.
