Right in the Fairway DK RBC Heritage Picks

Masters DK Grade: C++

So close, yet so far. My “gut guy”, Tyrrell Hatton with an abysmal first Masters showing, finishing 90th out of 93 golfers. With Fowler, Spieth, Pieters, and Moore all towards the top of the leaderboard, a Hatton made cut would have almost guaranteed at least a cash. However, cashing in DK big tournaments is not an easy task, but we will get it back this week.

RBC Heritage DK Picks

Obvious Pick of the Week:

Martin Kaymer ($9,500)

Coming off a strong final round at The Masters last week, shooting a 4-under 68, Kaymer is coming into the RBC Heritage in great form. Without a MC (7/7) on the year, Kaymer is not only a safe pick, at a decent price, but with 2 major championships under his belt, Kaymer has shown he has the skill to succeed on tour. I expect him to be in the conversation come Sunday afternoon, and rack up the DFS points.

Gut Guy of the Week:

Patrick Cantlay ($7,600)

The former World No.1 in the Amatuer Golf Rankings for 55 straight weeks has had his share of turmoil throughout his short career on Tour. With the sudden passing of his longtime friend and caddie, Chris Roth, and a back injury lingering from the past season, Cantlay is still playing out his rookie campaign on Tour. With a 2nd place finish this season at The Valspar, Cantlay earned enough to regain his PGA Tour status for the remainder of the season. I could not think of a better pick for Gut Guy of the Week other than Patrick Cantlay. With the pressure off to regain PGA status, and the obvious skill set to compete, I expect a solid showing from Cantlay this week.

Value Pick of the Week:

Daniel Summerhays ($6,600)

Trying to find the right value pick in a wide field such as this week at the RBC Heritage can be very difficult. Summerhays, coming off a made cut in his first Masters, must have an extra confidence boost coming into this week. Also, with 3rd and 8th place finishes in last years PGA Championship and U.S. Open, Summerhays definitely has the ability to not only make a cut, but compete on the weekend. Hopefully Summerhays has an extra pep in his step this week and can put together a few good rounds and continue to gain DFS points throughout the weekend.

DK Tournament of the Week
