2017 RBC Heritage Champion
Wesley Bryan, my darkhorse at +6500 to win the tournament, became the first native from South Carolina to win the RBC Heritage with his impressive 4-under final round performance finishing at 13-under for the tournament. With Luke Donald, a mainstay at the RBC Heritage (SIX top 3 finishes), and the likes of Ollie Schniederjans and Patrick Cantlay (DK Gut Guy of the Week) alongside Bryan at the top of the leaderboard, it seemed to be the first person to get a hold of the lead at 13-under would take it home. Bryan did just that on 15 with his tremendous approach leading to birdie, and outright lead, which he would cap off with a short par putt on 18.

Bryan gave a little peek behind the curtain what it feels like being a PGA Tour golfer coming down the stretch of your first professional win in his post round talk with Nantz and Faldo. The fact that he didn’t go full throw up in that situation is impressive in its own right.

FORE Right of the Week
While Wesley Bryan was my +6500 darkhorse for the week, Martin Kaymer was my main pick. Right in the thick of it going into the weekend, Kaymer put up a 3-over 74 on Saturday to fall out of contention. Kaymer tried to pull off his best Wesley Bryan trick shot on Saturday on No.9, and failed miserably in this weeks FORE Right of the Week.

Hey Martin. Next time leave the trick shots to the champ.
